Recharging and purification
Natural stone jewelry must be purified as soon as you take possession of it. After a while the stone has given all the energy it could, it can be purified energetically by immersing it for several hours in demineralized water, possibly slightly salty.
Its energy can be amplified by charging it in the sun for several hours or by placing it on a Quartz cluster .
Agate jewelry is recharged on a Quartz or Amethyst mat, which allows it to be both cleaned and recharged . To purify it, let the Agate bathe in the sun's rays.
Avoid purifying necklaces, bracelets, pendants too frequently with water or a liquid solution so as not to damage the non-mineral elements.
Meaning and History of Agate
The name Agate comes from the Greek “akhates”, it owes its name to a river in Sicily , archaeologists found traces of agate 3000 years BC.
It was very widely described by medieval lapidaries; according to them, Agate resembles an animal and in symbolism resembles kings. They considered different virtues linked to its color: anti-venom, talisman, protection against thirst, protection against enemies, power etc. So many qualifiers which reflect the craze for this stone for so many centuries.
In the 19th century, scientists found a method to artificially color Agate stones, which did not fail to revive the craze for this mineral which could then inspire the imagination.
