Benefits and virtues of Diorite
A relatively rare stone, it combines the properties of the numerous minerals and precious stones that compose it . Energetically very powerful, it strengthens us in all situations of everyday life, particularly in times of stress or intense fatigue . Helps to break out of routine and encourages change, to make a new start. Diorite makes us want to taste new things in all the areas that attract us.
Helps plan and implement new resolutions with discernment. Its protective virtues will help us sweep away obstacles and people who block our need for change. These virtues will serve as triggers for self-healing and holistic regeneration (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual).

Meaning and History of Diorite
The story of Orbicular Diorite is worthy of a novel : as early as 1786, de Saussure reported at the Miage glacier, in the Mont-Blanc massif, an orbicular hornblende gabbro that J. Pinkerton called miagite in 1811.
In 1809, a rock with the appearance of a panther's skin was discovered near Santa-Lucia-di-Tallano, near Sartène (Corsica), and it was called corsilite, for a short time, because in 1811, the journal Petrology considered it as a simple variety of granite. On November 21, 1853, before the French Geological Society, Mr. Constant Prévost read a letter of June 8, received from Corsica, which described in detail “the deposit of the remarkable rock…”.
This “corsite” was described as unique in the world… before it was found in Finland! Around a hundred lodgings have been identified throughout the world (1966).
