Pierre Bismuth: Virtues of Bismuth
These metallic crystals were formed in the laboratory from the natural metal Bismuth . The result is a magnificent geometric shape, with a wide range of color .
A stone of transformation , Bismuth relieves the symptoms of isolation , spiritually and emotionally .
Bismuth, symbol Bi, is the chemical element with atomic number 83. It is the heaviest in group Vb of the classification of the periodic table of elements.
- Origin of the name : From the German weisse masse, white mass
- Group belonging to : Pnictogens
- Color(s) : Metallic blue, gold, green and purple
- Symbol : Stone of cohesion and transformation
- Hardness : 2.5
- Deposits : England, Bolivia, Canada, Spain...
- Chemical composition : Atomic

Varieties of Bismuth
Bismuth is a white metal . In order to obtain different shades it must be brought into contact with heat. Bismuth is a metal with pink hues , hard and brittle .
It does not react with oxygen or water. It reacts with concentrated nitric acid.
We therefore heat the metal to a temperature of around 300 degrees Celsius to obtain it colored with abstract shapes. When it cools, you get the different shades.
Benefits and virtues of Bismuth
The Stone Doctrine is: “ Life is exciting once I embrace change instead of resisting it .”
Stone of light , Bismuth placed in a place, it strengthens the cohesion of a group and brings cheerfulness .
On the physical level
Bismuth has many physical benefits. It stimulates creativity by promoting the organization of thought .
It combines anti-infectious , anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties ; this combination of effects is particularly suitable for infectious attacks with inflammatory reactions and painful manifestations. In addition, it has immunostimulating properties , allowing the body to fight more effectively when it is attacked by aggressive external agents.
It is most often used during infections, particularly caused by viruses. One of its preferred indications is sore throats or pharyngitis but also painful damage to the larynx (laryngitis). Helping to strengthen the body's defenses , it is also recommended for recurrent pathologies.
It is used to help relieve heartburn , indigestion and other stomach problems.
On a spiritual level
Bismuth is considered a building stone at the mental level . It allows you to move from the physical plane to the astral plane. This stone develops around the idea of being one of the best diamagnetic in its pure state , can almost stop a magnetic field.
In lithotherapy, we will use this crystal to work on the higher chakras such as the Coronal Chakra and for all meditation work .
It's a very good stimulant . It allows us to overcome situations in life that destabilize us. It allows us to examine our perception .
When you move or move in, this metal must be the first to come in and the last to come out.
Chakras
On the Solar Plexus Chakra , Bismuth will act as a stimulant to help us overcome life situations that destabilize us. It is one of the stones that one must have.
Placed on the Third Eye Chakra it allows us to elevate ourselves in our spirituality . In addition, it makes possible the transition from the physical plane to the astral plane .
On the Throat Chakra , it is effective against tonsillitis , tonsillitis and laryngitis.
It also acts on the fourth Chakra , Heart Chakra .
Its advantage is that it diffuses energy from the Crown Chakra to the Root Chakra . It is therefore an important stone.
Astrological signs
The preferred astrological signs for the Bismuth stone are the signs Leo and Aquarius .
Recharging and purification
Each natural stone is unique in its shape and color. A natural stone often has marks that do not disappear, but its energy remains intact and effective . After each acquisition of a stone, it must be purified and recharged .
For purification, simply immerse the stone in running water .
Bismuth is recharged by exposure to solar rays . It is advisable to place them on a quartz mass .
If you want to make an elixir with Bismuth, simply put the stone in its raw state in a glass of water overnight.
Meaning and History of Bismuth
Bismuth is the most diamagnetic of all metals. It is a synthetic crystal with metallic colors. Each piece is unique . It’s a real element of our culture.
It is very close to lead and has long been confused with other metals such as tin or lead. Bismuth metal is used in the manufacture of cast iron welds.
Bismuth is the chemical element with atomic number 83 and symbol Bi. It is the fifth and last element of the pnictogen group (group no. 15). It is usually in the form of a white, crystalline, fragile metal with a pinkish tinge . It is also found in metallic blue with gold reflection, purple green.
It was known in 1480 but was confused with other cultural productions during the Middle Ages. In medieval times it was called "bisemutum".
Claude-François Geoffroy is a French apothecary and chemist. He is credited with the discovery of Bismuth in France in 1753 . The chemical symbol Bi was proposed by the Swedish chemist Berzelius in 1814. He wrote a book on his discovery: Grandjean de Fouchy, “Sur le bismuth”, in History of the Royal Academy of Sciences.
Even if it was known and used, for its alloys or its use in pigments for painting , by men since Antiquity , Bismuth has been produced industrially since the 19th century in Germany. The rise of this production occurred during the 20th century with a large production of alloys from Bismuth and its integration into the pharmaceutical industry.
Bismuth has been used in medicine and pharmacy for centuries . It is still present in the composition of certain medications but at very low doses.
Bismuth is a rare element on Earth . Its clarke amounts to 0.2 g per tonne. In addition, it is more present in the continental crust than in the Earth's mantle.
It is found in hydrothermal veins but also in certain magmatic rocks such as porphyries.
In its metallic form, Bismuth is widely used for the manufacture of molds with complex shapes , particularly for small mechanical parts.
In its oxidized form, Bismuth has an important place in the glass and ceramic industry , particularly for the creation of white or green colored pigments and in the chemical industry for the creation of acrylic fibers for example.
