Stone Colors & Meaning
The virtues of stones really began to become known around lithotherapy during the Middle Ages . Many lapidaries advocated medical benefits and magical properties on certain types of stones. The people of ancient India particularly considered the virtues of stones at the therapeutic level . In Mongolia and Tibet, traditional medicine has used stone powder as a therapeutic solution for hundreds of years .
Just like flowers carry a message , the colors we wear speak about us . A color can also influence our emotions and actions . We are naturally attracted to a personal spectrum that resembles us.
It has been believed since the dawn of time that colors radiate from the human body and that using precious stones used according to these colors, used in lithotherapy, can have a subtle effect on the way of being, the situation , the behavior and the destiny of a person .
Healing with stones of different colors allows for a rainbow of possibilities. The meaning of colors varies depending on the variety of stones . It is important that the stones are purified and recharged after each use.
The colors (and colored stones) we wear and those we choose to decorate our environment have an effect on us .
- Bright colors tend to light up our mood , they represent luxuries and the pleasures of life .
- Matte colors tend to make us darker .
- Shades of red represent passion and energy .
- Blues _ and light greens represent peace and calm.
- The White represents purity , innocence and peace .
- Light colors promote sleep , bright or dark colors can make him agitated.
